Thank You Katy and Fulshear for Naming Us Living Magazines Best Psychologist Readers Choice 2022 to 2026

Five years of recognition is more than an award. It is a reflection of trust, community, and the many people who believe mental health care matters.

Thank you, Katy and Fulshear, for naming us Living Magazine’s Best of Psychologist Readers’ Choice from 2022 through 2026. We are honored by this recognition and deeply grateful to the readers, clients, families, colleagues, and neighbors who have continued to support our work.

Awards are meaningful, but the reason behind this one matters most. It comes from local readers. It comes from people who know what it feels like to look for care, make that first call, begin therapy, and hope for something better.

Why this recognition means so much

Being named a Readers’ Choice winner year after year is especially meaningful because mental health care is personal. People do not choose a psychologist the same way they choose a casual service. They look for someone they can trust with stress, grief, relationships, parenting challenges, anxiety, life transitions, and questions that may be hard to say out loud.

That trust is never taken lightly.

When a community recognizes a practice as a best psychologist choice it speaks to consistency, compassion, professionalism, and the small details that help people feel seen from the beginning.

Thank you to the Katy and Fulshear community

Katy and Fulshear continue to grow, but they still carry a strong sense of connection. Families build roots here. Children grow up here. People move through career changes, school pressures, marriage, loss, caregiving, and new chapters of life here.

Mental health care becomes part of that story.

We are grateful to serve people who are willing to do meaningful work. Therapy often asks for honesty, patience, and courage. It can involve learning new ways to communicate, understanding old patterns, naming emotions more clearly, or practicing skills that take time to become familiar.

Progress is not always loud. Sometimes it looks like sleeping a little better. Setting one healthy boundary. Having one calmer conversation. Asking for help sooner. Feeling less alone.

Those moments are all progress.

Reflection and small steps often shape meaningful progress.

Being honored from 2022 to 2026 encourages us to keep showing up with the same values that led people to place their trust in us:

Care that is personal

No two people arrive with the exact same history, needs, or goals.

Care that is grounded

Therapy should feel thoughtful, ethical, and based on sound clinical practice.

Care that is respectful

Every person deserves kindness, privacy, and dignity.

Care that supports real life

The work done in therapy should help people outside the session, in relationships, homes, schools, workplaces, and daily routines.

Mental health care is built one relationship at a time

A strong therapeutic relationship does not happen because of a title or award. It grows through trust. It grows when someone feels heard without judgment. It grows when goals are clear and the pace of therapy respects the person doing the work. In the Katy and Fulshear area, people often seek support for many reasons. Some are managing anxiety or stress. Some are navigating parenting concerns, relationship strain, or major life changes. Others may simply feel stuck and want a place to sort through what comes next.

Looking ahead with the same commitment

Being named Living Magazine’s Best of Psychologist Readers’ Choice from 2022 through 2026 is a milestone we will always appreciate and be humbled by. It reminds us to stay grounded in what matters most: ethical care, human connection, and respect for each person’s path.

We will continue working to provide thoughtful psychological services with warmth, skill, and professionalism. We will continue listening. We will continue learning. We will continue honoring the trust placed in us.

To everyone who voted, referred, supported, and believed in the importance of mental health care, thank you. This recognition belongs to the community as much as it belongs to us, and we are grateful to keep serving with you.

Sincerely Yours,

The Katy Psychological Services Team
