I am Licensed Psychological Associate-Independent Status, currently practicing in Katy, Texas. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University. During my graduate training, I provided psychological services at the Sam Houston State University Counseling Center. My interests and expertise are in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar/mood disorders, personality disorders (including borderline personality disorder), interpersonal difficulties, and life transitions or other life stressors. I use empirically supported treatments that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I also provide Parent Management Training (PMT) for parent and child to help improve problematic and disruptive behaviors home. My scope of practice also includes evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities (including SAT/ACT or Section 504 Accommodations), and ADHD. As a LPA-Independent Status, I have completed all requirements (under the prior supervision of Dr. Dyanna Villesca, practice owner) to practice independently in the State of Texas.

I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with adults. My goal as a CCTP is to provide a safe environment where clients can process traumatic events, develop healthy coping strategies, and reclaim a sense of safety and control in their lives.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I believe therapy should be approached from a collaborative mindset and tailored to the unique needs of the client. This can include referrals to other services to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes (e.g., IOP/PHP programs, couples counseling, and substance abuse counseling). Outside of my profession, I enjoy drawing, reading, yoga, and watching movies.
