I am a Licensed Psychologist (LP) and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). I earned my master’s in Counseling from the University of Houston and my doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Houston, an APA accredited and NASP approved program. During my graduate training, I provided psychological services in public schools, a private school for neurodivergent children and adolescents, and a community mental health clinic. For the past eight years I have practiced at a local school district where I was responsible for psychological evaluations, counseling, and consultation for multiple campuses (early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school level).


I am passionate about supporting children’s behavioral, social, and emotional wellbeing. I am trained in conducting comprehensive assessments for a range of developmental, behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and their parents on concerns related to behavior management, ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities.


I believe in data-based decision making when conducting evaluations and providing therapy. I utilize a multi-method and comprehensive approach to psychological and psycho-education evaluations for children and adolescents. I use gold-standard assessments such as the ADOS-2 for Autism evaluations. My approach to therapy is from a cognitive-behavioral and ecological framework. Therapy approaches I have used and am trained in include, Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.


I also enjoy working with parents to encourage their child’s social-emotional growth and wellness. I have provided parent coaching and training for children and adolescents, as well as administered the evidence-based Incredible Years parent training program for parents of children with autism and/or language delay. I have found my experiences with parent training to be a rewarding role. I value providing parents with the tools to support their families goals with strategies that are realistic to the home setting and feasible for parents to implement. I also enjoy supporting parents in advocating for their child’s needs within the school setting.
