I am a Licensed Psychologist (LP) and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). I earned my master’s in Counseling from University of Houston and my doctorate in School Psychology from Louisiana State University, an APA accredited and NASP approved program. During my graduate training, I provided psychological services in schools (public, charter, and private), a university clinic, and private practice. For the past five years I have practiced in a local school district where I was responsible for psychological evaluations, counseling, and consultation for multiple campuses (elementary, middle, and high school level).

I am passionate about building resilience in children, supporting their families, and empowering parents to advocate for their children. I have advanced training in comprehensive assessments for a range of developmental, behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families on concerns related to behavior management and parenting, anxiety, depression, autism, social-skills, ADHD, disruptive behaviors, and learning disabilities. In therapy, I meet my clients where they are, set goals, and work together to build strength and life-long skills.

By using a combination of therapy and assessment, I can better understand the needs of my clients and their families. Therapy approaches I have used and am trained in include, Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, parent coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness. I also enjoy supporting parents in their home-school relationship as they navigate seeking support for their child at school.
