I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings. I earned my master’s degree in forensic psychology from the University of Houston-Victoria and completed my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology-XULA, an APA-accredited program. Throughout my clinical training and professional experience, my professional roles have included the Department of Veterans Affairs, Texas A&M University Health Services providing counseling services, and the adult and juvenile justice systems in Fort Bend and Harris County. I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations assessing for Autism, ADHD, intellectual developmental disabilities, mood disorders, and trauma-related disorders. I am also trained in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). My approach to therapy emphasizes a strong therapeutic relationship, collaboration, and a lens that takes into account the diversity and uniqueness of each person. I also have experience with special needs, twice-exceptional, and neurodiverse populations, and I am also proficient in Spanish.
