I am a board-certified Clinical Neuropsychologist (ABPP) and Licensed Psychologist. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University (LSU) and my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2008. During my advanced training, I completed my predoctoral internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston. For over 15 years, I have practiced in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation units, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary hospital environments including The Menninger Clinic and TIRR Memorial Hermann.

I have specialized experience conducting complex comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with adults and older adults. My primary area of practice includes assessing individuals with neurodegenerative diseases including dementia and mild cognitive impairment, as well as differentiating these conditions from healthy aging, traumatic and acquired brain injuries, stroke, and other neurological conditions.

I have additional expertise in assessment of mental health populations and complex cases, including serious mental illness, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders; as well as, conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for presurgical and other medical populations, including candidates for spinal cord stimulator implants, bariatric surgery, and organ transplants.

By using my advanced training and comprehensive assessment approaches, I better understand the unique cognitive and psychological needs of my clients and their families. I strive to provide detailed insights, accurate diagnoses, and a collaborative approach to guide treatment planning and support overall well-being.
